Big Bear Recreational Facility

Check-in 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Valid military ID must be presented to Lodge Attendant when checking-in.

Late Check-in
To make arrangements, please contact the Big Bear Recreational Facility at (909) 866-3965 during business hours,
Daily, 8:00am – 8:00pm.

Check-out 8:00 am – 11:00 am
Patrons are required to clean cabins before checking out. Patrons must notify the Lodge Attendant prior to
departure to have their cabin inspected. There will be charges for broken, damaged or missing items.

- Maximum of 6 people per cabin
- No Pets are allowed on the facility

Winter Season November thru March
ALWAYS bring snow chains for your vehicle’s tires. Even 4x4 vehicles with snow tires must have chains in
the vehicle when snow chains are mandatory for other vehicles.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation policy has been approved by the Big Bear Recreational Facility Director and the MCAS Miramar
Commanding Officer.
For cancellations or changes to reservations, please contact the Miramar ITT/Travel Office at (858) 577-4141/4126
during business hours, Mon thru Fri, 9:00am – 5:00pm.

Penalties for Late Cancellation

Business Days Prior to Reservation	*Penalty
2 or less	No Refund or Credit
3 - 10	Refund with $10 Fee or Credit with No Fee
11 or more	No Penalty

* Full refund or credit may be given, if proof of military orders or a doctor’s note of a medical necessity is provided.

Credit
- May be used toward one (1) future reservation.
- Has No cash value, therefore no change will be given.
- Expires one (1) year from when credit was issued.
