2012 Athletics Calendar: Download by clicking [ here ]. Get your workout the fun way by joining one of Semper Fit’s many athletic teams. On-base intramural leagues, varsity and All-Marine levels are available. Sports offered include softball, basketball, football, soccer, hockey, volleyball and tennis, just to name a few. Both men’s and women’s teams are available for most sports, and all provide opportunities for physical fun and fierce competition. All teams are open to military personnel, and many are open to military family members and DoD employees. Selected sports have afternoon and evening leagues, making it easy for anyone interested to get involved. Various tournaments are held throughout the year, making unit cohesiveness as important on the field or court as it is on the job! SUBMISSION-GRAPPLING CLUB
TO REGISTER, CLICK [ HERE ] TOURNAMENT STARTS - 22 OCT 2011 DAYS - TBD WEIGH-INS - TBD • EVENT BEGINS - TBD [ flier ] The MCAS Miramar Submission-Grappling Club has moved to a new training facility at Bldg 2525 (next to Marine Mart). The Club is expanding membership and looking for individuals of all levels of experience and training in Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling, grappling, Muy Thai, or any other art. They follow a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu curriculum and a path to advancement of BJJ belts. They also train in gi and no-gi techniques as well as striking disciplines. If you have ever been interested in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, this is a great place to start. Always a safe, fun, friendly and free training environment.
