  > FULL-TIME CDC COMING SOON . . .

The Miramar Youth & Teen Center is excited to inform you that we will be adding full-time CDC care to our facility!  This change was made to better serve our military families due to the lengthy wait for full-time care in San Diego.  Hours of operation will be 0600-1800.
• Effective June 16, 2014, our Hourly Care Program will transition to a full day program for infants and toddlers
(6 weeks to 3 years old).
• Effective June 30, 2014, our Part Day Preschool Program will transition to a full day program for preschoolers
(3 years old – 5 years old, not yet in Kindergarten).
This is a new program; therefore you will need to enter a request for care through our Military Childcare (MCC) website: www.militarychildcare.com. Beginning March 20, 2014, if you are interested in enrolling your child for full-time care you will need to create a profile on MCC and search for Miramar Youth and Teen Center.

MIRAMAR YOUTH AND TEEN CENTER PHILOSOPHY STATEMENT
To provide a quality program for our military families, while promoting the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children, youth, and teens through programming that engages them in diverse, innovative, recreational, and educational themes and models courtesy and respect to all.

THE NAEYC: National Assoc. for the Education of Young Children
The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) is the largest organization of early childhood educators in the United States. Only child care centers that meet the quality standards can be accredited by NAEYC. Of the more than 80,000 child care centers operating in the United States, only about 8% have earned this accreditation. We are proud to have achieved this level of QUALITY. It is part of our ongoing commitment to provide the highest quality child care.

COUNCIL OF ACCREDITATION (COA)
