Presenting These Honorary Awardees

The Marine Corps Food and Hospitality Excellence Award was created to formally acknowledge and validate non-appropriated fund food and hospitality activities that have achieved the highest degree of excellence during the fiscal year. To be considered for an award, the activity must demonstrate significant contributions in four categories: customer service, financial performance, human resources and operations.

Here now are the MCCS Miramar awardees for fiscal year 2006.

Officers' Club Award

The MCAS Miramar Officers' Club has, once again, received the Marine Corps Food and Hospitality Excellence Award. This marks the third consecutive year for that this MCCS facility has been awarded with this honor. Col Christopher O'Connor, Commanding Officer at MCAS Miramar, presents the Food and Hospitality Award 2006 to
MCCS Officers' Club Manager, Jennifer Cherry.
 
Miramar Inn Award

Miramar Inn's General Manager, Joyce Telmo along with her staff, are presented the 2006 Food and Hospitality Excellence Award by CO Col Christopher O'Connor,
Commanding Officer, MCAS Miramar.
