Enlisted Rec Center


		The Miramar Great Escape Enlisted Recreation Center was developed as a non-alcoholic alternative to the Enlisted Club and is also a 'home away from home.' It is open 365 days a year, over 95 hours each week. It features pool tables, ping pong tables, an arcade featuring the First to Fight computer game (co-sponsored by DDRP), two 50" TVs, four 25" TVs with cable, a 60" flat screen in our movie room with over 800 movies to choose from, a lounge area and CZee computer room. The Great Escape hosts daily, weekly and monthly activities, including pool and ping pong tournaments, G.E. Olympics, barbeques, ice cream socials and 'Off Base Adventures' to explore Southern California's exciting attractions. The Great Escape also hosts the "Home for the Holidays" program, pairing single service members with host families in outlying cities. The Great Escape is open to enlisted active duty, reservists and their guests over the age of 18.

MOVIE ROOM
We have a variety of over 800 movies available for viewing right here for you, in-house, on a projection TV while relaxing in one of our recliner s or beanbag chairs!

POOL ROOM
Check out our six tournament sized pool tables. Tournaments are held every Friday night with NO ENTRY FEE!

ARCADE
Our arcade features:

- Interactive Game Systems: Featuring PS2, PS3, XBox 360, GameCube and the classic Nintendo 64.

- First To Fight Computer Game: Sponsored by DDRP.

CYBER CENTER
You'll find this adjacent to the Great Escape.

LOUNGE AREAS
Our two lounge areas with overstuffed couches AND featuring two 52" big screen TVs hooked-up directly to DirecTV and our movies. Drop by and unwind while watching WWE action, the Super Bowl, Sponge Bob, Survivor or any of the many programs we offer!
