The Home for the Holidays Program is a program that started over 15 years ago as a way to bring the service members and San Diego community together for the holidays. Many of our service members are unable to go home to their families so we have host families adopt them for a day or two. Though we don’t advertise to the San Diego community, we always have families that call on their own who are interested in how they can make the holiday happier for our troops. We do advertise to service members in order to make them aware of the generous offers from numerous families.
