    Xtreme Challenge is an incentive program to help you stay motivated about your fitness routine and to support healthy active lifestyle through participation in health and fitness activities. Members of the program are awarded points for exercising and will be given prizes when they reach different levels of points based on their activities. Participating in almost any Semper Fit activity, attending area races or just walking during your lunch hour can earn you points. We recognize that not everyone works out the same way but everyone can use motivation to get fit or stay fit. All active members of program are included in a quarterly drawing for a free massage and a $50.00 certificate to a sport store. Start collecting your points today. You too can be a winner!     Bench Press Wall of Champions – Patrons are recognized by a personalized plaque on the Wall of Champions in the Miramar Sports Complex when they bench press 300, 400,or 500 pounds. Women are recognized for bench pressing over 100 pounds. How much can you bench press? Come and give a try.     Marine Teen Training – is an educational program for teens 12-17 years old. It is being offered twice a week (every Tuesday at 18:30 and every Saturday at 10:30). It teaches policies and gym etiquette at the fitness center as well as provides advice on how to use the equipment. Teens are awarded with a Teen Card that allows them access to the gym.     Return to Readiness – is targeting Marines who are coming back after challenges from injury or illness and have finished rehabilitation part of their recovery. Personalized program to assist Marines with fitness conditioning and preparation for PFT will be designed by trainers who are certified Clinical Exercise Specialists. Special attention is paid to Marines with weight management challenges. A dietician who is a part of Semper Fit team is available and will assist in a weight management program. A simple Metachek test will give information on how many calories a Marine needs to eat for weight management purposes.  For information contact: 577-4129

    Devil Dog Body Building Team – consists of veteran and novice body builders all with the heart for the sport of body building. All involved train independently as well as collaborate and assist each other with the proper tools and techniques on achieving and showcasing the ideal physique for show.
