HOMECOMING TIPS / Suggestions

• Prepare early! If you plan on pampering yourself before the special day, give yourself a full 24 hours before the expected return dates as times can change… and often do!

• Everyone wants to look their best! A pretty dress is always a favorite, but remember to bring a light wrap or sweater as hangars and terminals can get chilly!

• Talk with your family and your Marine’s family about who will be present at the homecoming to avoid confusion or miscommunication.

• Bring a pillow or comfort item for your kids as delays in the return should be expected! All that excitement can be exhausting..especially if your Marine should come home in the middle of the night!
