The Single Marine Program (SMP) functions to support single Marines’ leisure interests and Quality of Life (QOL) concerns. SMP serves as the voice for single Marines in identifying concerns, developing initiatives, and providing recommendations through advocacy, recreational activities, special events, and community involvement.

The Single Marine Program aboard MCAS Miramar specializes in presenting Single Service Members and Geographical Bachelors with recreational and leisure activities, as well as, provides an opportunity for identifying and recommending solutions for Quality of Life issues.

Each month, MCAS Miramar’s Single Service Members and Geographical Bachelors can enjoy activities such as trips both local and statewide, opportunities to volunteer, barracks bashes, fundraisers, tournaments, and interactive meetings discussing topics such as: Quality of Life issues, upcoming trips, monthly volunteer opportunities and information about MCCS. The Single Marine Program also offers many great opportunities to take on leadership roles and organize social activities.
